Chii
Chobits opens with the quirky Hideki who lives in a farm far away, he just failed his college entrance exam. Upset and bewildered he decides to move to Tokyo and enter a college prep school. After a series of boring mournful events Hikeki finds what he thinks is a dead girl in the trash. "EEkk, I found a crime scene" Hideki squeals out loud (which he has a tendency to do- a lot). He inspects the scene to find out that its not a murdered girl, but a persocom. A persocom is a computer, it just looks like a girl. Now Hideki is really happy. "YES, finally I can take a look at those porno sites I've heard so much of."
Unfortunately his dreams of looking up porno vanish when he gets home and finds out she's a special persocom, a Chobit. Chobits are thinking and learning computers, and Chii, as she is known, is a blank slate. The series is about Chii learning and growing into a woman.
